The Pepper Challenge
May 2017, Restaurante Willy bet on a new concept of service and its image transformation. With 23 years of experience in the market, after being a company recognized as a night place, and in the search for something innovative where the possibility of merging a day and night concept, but without losing its fun approach and positioning itself as a solid company It seemed a challenge; So he decided to go to our agency, Pepper Design & Branding.
The Pepper Solution
Through a brand analysis our Branding experts found the opportunity to develop an institutional graphic line and an advertising graphic line that projected quality and solidity.
Our team developed a friendlier typeface that would reflect as if it were written by hand and as if it were Willy himself who is signing, for being the character that identifies the brand and is known to salvadorans. It sought to make something more familiar, fun and friendly with a popular approach, with the simulated smile within Willy's signature making it more cheerful and dynamic.
That duplicity was created; a Willy by day that is food in sight and a Willy by night that is also food but has more nightly fun. The new image focused on food consumption where red is a color that arouses appetite mixing with the colors of the brand such as yellow that is more inclined to mass consumption, popular and easily accessible. The graphic line was designed to be applied both for day and night and at the same time the entire communication strategy for its relaunch was carried out.
The success of Restaurante Willy has not gone unnoticed, positioning itself within the range of restaurants and as a brand that was reborn and did so in a strong way.

The El Salvador Stock Exchange sought to be a partner of Pepper in its rebranding project as it needed to project a more modern image, looking to the future and closer to all investors, regardless of the size of the investment.
A modern brand was designed that is consistent with the concept of creating footwear with a personalized design, adapted to the needs of each client.
